More than 50 solitary young refugees who disappeared not long after arriving the UK and while in the care of government agencies are still missing, according to information acquired.

Many of the missing children came in small boats or hidden in the rear compartments of lorries and are thought to have been taken by criminal networks. This region is often the place where they initially reach.

Government Figures Reveals Concerning Totals

Freedom of information data has documented 345 children going missing from local care, with 56 of those still missing.
